this time we're teaming up with 343 labs and their nyc dj meetup. it's a little different from our first event: we're bringing together two nyc dj communities for an evening of music, networking, sharing ideas and learning from each other.

8 djs · 12-minute sets, followed by opportunities for feedback and discussion. four slots are reserved for cmngrnd. djs — two are already filled, and the remaining two are first come, first served for anyone who shows up and wants to play.

learn from the 343 labs community. the school's instructors are all working professional djs and producers — a great chance to share techniques, ask questions and get constructive feedback on your mixing and performance. i've personally taken one of their music production courses and can vouch for the quality of their teaching. — ad

you don't need to be playing to participate — that's a big part of what we're building. come listen, support fellow djs, exchange ideas, talk music and production, meet new people, and bring a friend.

nyc has more talented djs than set times. we're doing something about it.

cmngrnd. is a monthly gathering of djs, producers, musicians and people who love music. part dance party, part creative community, and entirely about bringing people together.

we give emerging artists a place to play, experiment, share what they're working on and connect with people who can help them grow.

trade tracks. share techniques. find your next collaborator. help someone land a gig. discover an artist you've never heard of.

djs, electronic musicians & vocalists — submit to play. slots are limited and curated: submitting doesn't guarantee a set, but every submission gets a listen. vocalists: we'll pair you with djs & producers in the room.

producers — submit unreleased electronic music of any style — house, techno, disco, breaks, bass, ambient and beyond. each night has its own musical direction, so we'll match your track to the right room. you keep all rights; you're just letting us play it in the room.

every donation supports all hands on decks.

all hands on decks is a free dj camp for kids with hand differences, run through hospital for special surgery and sponsored in conjunction with 343 labs. cmngrnd. is how the nyc dj community helps keep it going — you dance, a kid learns to mix.

online donations are made directly to hospital for special surgery through its giving page for the penny doerge adaptive academy, its pediatric adaptive programs.
